M156 - RS 680 & RS 680+

The first cars of the 63-AMG-Series are true muscle cars. But the era of large-displacement-engines is over. AMG has created a real monument with the M156 engine, and at the same time, delivered a perfect base for the conversion to the RS680. Through supercharging and water-cooled charge air technology, the engine now delivers 680HP and 850Nm after the electronic fine-tuning of the engine and the transmission control units. This is an increase in power of up to 48% compared to the unmodified vehicles. The sprint of a C63 AMG from 0 to 100 km/h is now done in 3.8 seconds. Through the use of a racing-sport limited-slip differential, the power of the engine is now transferred to the road as optimal as possible for the perfect traction. The result is a top speed of 336 km/h.

The Plus-Model of this vehicle promises a performance increase of up to 53% and results in a maximum of 730HP and 903Nm. In this case, the further increase in power is achieved by a long-ranging motorsport manifold with 200CPI racing cats. Optionally, there is a valve controlled exhaust system and an extended speedometer of up to 380 km/h available for this kit. In addition, the original transmission hardware can also be reinforced, to prepare the MCT transmission of the vehicle for the new requirements.
