M133 - RS 485 & RS 485+

The conversion to the 45 RS485 includes an upgraded turbocharger, which is based on the original Borgwarner turbocharger. By modifying the compressor wheel and the turbine exhaust, a lower backpressure and a higher compression ratio is achieved. Thus, the maximum boost pressure can be increased and kept longer. The resulting surplus of exhaust gas, needs more volume in the exhaust system, which is provided by enlarged and flow optimized stainless steel downpipes, either catless or in conjunction with a 200CPI racing cats. In order to ensure the increased demand for oxygen, the complete air-intake system, including the air-filter and intercooler, is optimized. By fine-tuning the engine and transmission control units, a power increase of up to 34% is achieved. Optionally available for purchase is an enhanced braking system for the front axle. The braking system with 6-piston calipers is supplied with a two-piece, potted steel brake disc in the dimension 365x34mm. In addition, steel braided hoses are installed.

The special version 45 RS485+ is based on the regular version of the RS 485. It can however, achieve a power increase of up to 38%. This is possible through the use of a ball bearing racing turbocharger, with an even higher compression compared to the upgrade turbocharger of RS 485. Also optionally available for this version is the purchase of the enhanced braking system for the front axle. The braking system with 6-piston calipers is supplied with a two-piece, potted steel brake disc in the dimension 365x34mm. In addition, steel braided hoses are installed.
