Speed Trap Update Comand Online NTG and MBUX
The Speed Trap Update for the Comand Online NTG and MBUX is available for all Mercedes-Benz navigational systems with Comand Online NTG 4.5, 4.7, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5** and MBUX (NTG 6)***. This update will be delivered as an SD-Card (Comand) or a USB-Stick (Type-C) (MBUX) and adds reliable speed trap notification to your navigational system. It displays all stationary speed traps on the map, and optionally also locations, that are known for frequent mobile radar traps. An acoustic notification indicates the approach of such a point. The easy to set up notification options, allow you to configure the system yourself. You can decide which speed trap categories are displayed and if there should be an acoustic warning* for them or not. The SD-Card / USB-Stick needs to stay in the cardreader of the Comand Online / USB-Port of the MBUX for the whole time. If the card / stick is removed, the speed trap update will not longer be available. We only need the vehicle identification number (VIN) to create and activate this update for your vehicle.
*Acoustic warning is depending on the software version of your NTG. **Except E-Class (213, 238), G-Class (as from 05.2018), C-Class (205 as from 2018), GLC-Class (253 as from 06.2019), CLS-Class (257), S-Class (222, 217 as from 07.2017). ***MBUX-System may require a softwareupdate Note: MBUX with firmware FUP2 (Fresh Update 2) may be incompatible !
