Posaidon "E63 RS 850"

Actually, the considerable serial output of 557 HP in the current Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, should be quite sufficient for most uses. Should be; there is a surprising number of performance fans who can never get enough of such a potent vehicle. We will gladly take care of this wish and by targeted measures generate so many additional HP in the E-class that no wish will remain unfulfilled at all.

Almost 300 HP extra turn the E63 AMG "RS 850" into a hunter on the motorway that will hardly find its match in longitudinal dynamics.
This performance treatment is made up of several mechanical and electronic components: For example, two upgrade turbochargers have been installed in connection with a changed charging air cooling. Furthermore, the suction paths of the 5.5 litres V8-biturbo drive have been optimised and the original exhaust system has been replaced by completely new exhaust technology, including turbo downpipes, racing sports catalysers and flap control.

Thanks to fine coordination of the motor electronics, the drive output has now been increased to an incredible 853 HP, corresponding to an additional performance of precisely 296 horses. The torque, increased from 720 Nm to 1,300 Nm will render you speechless, as well.
The maximum speed is electronically limited at 345 km/h. The transmission and the rear axle also had to be optimised to resist the increased stress.

Posaidon E63 RS850+: 1.020 HP & 1.400 Nm!

While the 1000 HP threshold seems to be virtually unattainable for the entire competition, whether tuner or carmaker, we present the strongest, street-legal Benz of all time. We squeeze out an incredible 1,020 horsepowers and a maximum torque of 1,400 Nm from the V8 biturbo engine. To achieve this gigantic power increase, we turned the AMG engine inside out and exchanged virtually all major performance parts. For more pressure a sophisticated turbocharger upgrade, combined with a massive charge air expansion, including new cooler packages had to be installed. In addition, a special carbon air-filter set, including an enlarged air-intake ensures an optimized air flow. To finish the re-build we installed racing spark plugs and a handmade exhaust system, which starts at the turbocharger and leads into a rear silencer with valve control. All performance components were readjusted and optimized to each other by means of a revised engine management system and a modified transmission software. The latter of course had to be massively reinforced on the mechanical side to handle the 1,400 Nm of torque. For this, we installed customized limited-slip-differentials on the front and rear axles.

The E63 AMG sedan is of course anything but a lightweight, which is why we were set on losing all unnecessary pounds for this particular conversion wherever possible. Simple but still highly effective, was the clearing out of the rear end. Not only was the complete rear seat removed, but also the door panels. Compared to that, the use of ultra-lightweight carbon parts was sinfully expensive. In addition to the hood and the complete front bumper, we also used real carbon fiber parts for the rear diffuser, the rear spoiler, the mirror caps and the tailpipe trims. To supply the intercooler with sufficient air, the radiator grille consists only of a net.
Equipped with all these parts, the POSAIDON E63 RS850+ sprints from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.8 seconds. The theoretically possible maximum speed of 368 kph was limited to 350 kph, due to the maximum load capacity of the tires.
The exclusive ADV.1 rims add a superb look to the car. They rotate on the front axle in the dimension 9.5x20 inch ET37 with 255/30R20 and on the rear axle in 11x20 inch ET45 with 295/25R20. The AMG chassis has been modified with adjustable coilovers. Behind the rims resides a high-performance carbon fiber braking system, with 420x40 millimeter discs and 6-piston calipers at the front and 360x32-mm discs and 4-piston calipers at the rear axle. With this setup, brutal deceleration values are guaranteed.
Besides the already mentioned removal of the rear seats, we installed the driver and passenger seats from the C63 Black Series model, which saved about 40 kg of weight per seat. These leather bucket seats provide the best grip in all situations.

Of course we are offering these extreme development stages for all model series with the M157 63 AMG biturbo engines.

With the “RS 850” we prove how much potential there is in this engine, and we are using it relentlessly.
